Engine Flush Precautions
1. Protect the timing belt and alternator drive belt from splashes and direct exposure to detergent.
2. Keep attachments away from water and detergents.
3. Keep water out of the intake ducts.
4. When washing engine parts, be careful not to hit them, which could damage their seating surfaces and make them misaligned, which could result in engine damage.
Repair of threaded holes
The threaded holes of all engine parts can be repaired by cutting a new thread, except for the holes for attaching the cylinder head cover.
