Removal
- open the door;
- support the door from below with a stand, placing a soft pad under the door;
- disconnect the negative battery cable;

- disconnect the contact connector, having first disconnected the rubber seal from the door (Figure 9.29);

- unscrew the bolt securing the door opening limiter (Figure 9.30);

- ask an assistant to hold the door, remove the retaining rings of the door hinge axles (Figure 9.31). Using a hammer and a fork-type puller, knock out the door hinge pins and remove the door (Figure 9.32). A sketch of a fork puller is shown in Figure 9.33.

The door hinges are welded to the door frame and body pillars, so the position of the doors cannot be adjusted.
The door closing can be adjusted by changing the position of the lock latch on the body pillar using a suitable TORX Allen key.
Installation and adjustment
1. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Note: We recommend replacing the factory door hinges with repair ones (set 77 01 468 331).

These hinges make it easier to adjust the door relative to the body.

2. The door position is adjusted using special devices. The adjustment limit is ±3 mm.
