Unlocking and locking the side doors and tailgate (Renault Laguna 2)

Approach the car with the RENAULT card. If you grab the door handle 2 or press the tailgate button 3 or 4, the car locks will unlock (if the doors have not been unlocked for three days or more, you will need to pull the handle twice).


Unlocking the door locks is accompanied by a single activation of the direction indicators and side direction indicator repeaters in the hazard warning mode.

Attention! When leaving the car, never leave the Renault card in the car.

Locking the side doors and tailgate

Having the RENAULT card with you, close all the doors and press button 2 on any of the handles 1 or button 3 on the tailgate.

Locking the doors is accompanied by a double activation of the direction indicators and side direction indicator repeaters in the hazard warning mode.

Note: To lock the doors, the RENAULT card must be within range of the vehicle.

If the opening element (side door or tailgate) open or poorly closed, or if the RENAULT card is in the reader, rapid locking/unlocking occurs and the direction indicators in the hazard warning light mode do not turn on.

You can check the lock lock within three seconds after locking using the RENAULT card or buttons on the handles: during this time, when you try to open the door, the locks will remain locked.

Then the automatic "hands-free" mode will be turned on again and any action on the door handle will cause its lock to unlock.
