To operate, the system uses:
- RENAULT card (A);
- radio signal receiver, built-in reading device (B);
- electronic control unit built into the central computer (C);
- engine start button (O):
- door locks;
- red door closed indicator light;
- car direction indicators;
- injection computer (E);
- brake and clutch pedal sensors (F) and gearbox neutral position;
- electric steering column lock (G).
There are two buttons on the simple RENAULT map:
- lock button (1);
- release button (2).
Locking doors
To lock the car doors, press the "close" button.

Locking the doors with a remote control may be accompanied by flashing of the hazard warning lights (if all the doors are well closed). The red locking indicator light also comes on.
If one or more doors are not closed properly, the hazard warning lights will not operate when locked using the remote control.
Unlocking doors
To unlock the car doors, press the "open" button.
Unlocking the doors is accompanied by flashing hazard warning lights.
Note: The activation of the hazard warning lights when remote control is requested is performed by the central computer.
When the doors are locked using the remote control, the central locking button is blocked.
Some cars (right hand drive variant) are equipped with an "additional locking" function, which locks the doors to prevent the car from being opened from the inside. To lock the car, press the "lock" button (1) twice briefly or once long. This function uses special additional locking electric motors.
Right-hand drive vehicles can be equipped with the "driver's door only" function. This function allows you to unlock only the driver's door with a short press on the RENAULT card. To open all doors, two consecutive presses are required.
On vehicles equipped with pulse-controlled windows or an electric sunroof, a long press on the "close" button (1) closes all opening elements (before this they must be initialized).
