Removal



Turn off the ignition.

Loosen the screws (1) securing the steering column trim covers.

Loosen the screws (1) securing the steering column trim covers.


Set the steering column to the lower position.

Remove the upper steering column trim cover.

Set the steering column to the up position.

Remove the lower casing.

Note: It is necessary to remove the steering column switch assembly.


Loosen the screw (2) securing the audio system remote control.

Loosen the screw (2) securing the audio system remote control.


Disconnect the audio system remote control connector.

Remove the audio system remote control.

Installation



Connect the remote control connector to the audio system.

Install the audio system remote control unit.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
