- disconnect the negative battery cable;

- unscrew the screws securing the decorative grille, carefully detach its ends from the edges of the wings, then remove the grille and the rubber seal of the engine compartment cross member (Fig. 3.84);

- unscrew the two bolts of the upper radiator mount, remember the position of the mounting brackets and remove them (Fig. 3.85);
- unscrew the four bolts securing the cross member and remove it from the radiator;
- without removing the hood lock cable from the crossbar, move it towards the engine;
- disconnect the electric fan from the radiator and disconnect its connector.
The electric fan is installed in the reverse order of removal.
