Description
The fuse and relay box is installed on the UCH located in the dashboard on the driver's side.
Depending on the equipment, boxes with fuses and relays of two options can be installed on the car:
- option for standard models
- option for complete models
Notes:
- Only the box with fuses and relays for complete models is supplied as spare parts.
- This box can be installed instead of the box for models in the basic configuration.
When replacing the fuse and relay box, the number and location of fuses and jumpers depends on the vehicle's equipment. Be sure to pay attention to the correctness of their location on the new block.
Removing
Note. When the airbag computer is blocked, the ignition circuits are blocked and the electric steering column lock is unlocked.
Notes:
- If the UCH is replaced, be sure to record its configuration using the diagnostic tools.
- The box with fuses and relays is installed on the UCH. The removal of one entails the removal of the other.
Disconnect the battery.
Remove:
- side panel dashboard on the driver's side;
- cover under the dashboard;
- unscrew the fastening screw 1 of the UCH;
- the cover of the optional electrical equipment or the speaker of the speech synthesizer 2.
Cut the plastic tie 3 of the wiring harness.
Disconnect the UCH connectors and fuse and relay boxes;
Remove the UCH along with the fuse and relay box.
By pressing the latches 4, disconnect the UCH from the box with fuses and relays.
Installation
Follow the order of connecting the connectors and install a large clamp 3 to secure the wiring harness.
