To bleed air from the brake system with ABS, follow these steps:
  • right rear wheel;
  • left rear wheel;
  • right front wheel;
  • left front wheel.

Do not operate the anti-lock braking system unless it has been bled. If the injection pump sucks in air, it will be extremely difficult or impossible to remove.

In this regard, a hydraulic unit filled with brake fluid is supplied as spare parts.

It is best to bleed the system under pressure using a bleeder tool, especially after removing the ABS hydraulic unit and/or brake master cylinder.

Removal air using a special device

  • Connect the bleeding device to the brake fluid reservoir and apply a pressure of 2 bar
  • On each wheel cylinder, attach a tube to the air bleed nipple.
  • Open the bleed screw and press the brake pedal until the brake fluid starts to come out without bubbles.
  • Close the air bleed nipple.
  • The following order of air removal operations must be strictly observed:

a) master brake cylinder to the right rear wheel;

b) master brake cylinder to the left rear wheel;

c) the master brake cylinder to the right front wheel,

d) the main brake cylinder to the left front wheel.
