Caution: Avoid dropping or hitting the sensor head.
Removal
- Remove the wheel.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.
- Remove the sensor mounting bolt.
- Remove the sensor.

Installation
- Clean the mating surface of the sensor and steering knuckle.
- Lubricate the hole in the steering knuckle to install the sensor
- Install a new sensor.
- Screw in the sensor mounting bolt, having first lubricated its threads with a locking agent.
- Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
- Use a feeler gauge to measure the distance between the end of the ABS sensor and the rotor teeth by turning the sensor's toothed rotor one revolution
- Install the wheel.
