The prechambers are designed specifically for diesel engines and must protrude a certain amount from the top of the cylinder head.
The prechambers are pressed into the cylinder head. After installation, check the installation dimensions of the prechambers, as shown in illustration 6.8 for valves. Measurements are taken in relation to the upper head of the prechamber (from the side of the cylinder head). The normal setting size is 0.01 to 0.04 mm. If the prechambers have to be changed, measure the diameter of the installed chambers to find the right size prechamber. The same applies to fire-resistant washers, which come in two sizes.
