Removal
Disconnect the battery.
Remove:
- screws on the lower steering column cover,
- steering wheel covers,
- electronic engine immobilizer ring.

Disconnect the connectors.
Remove:
- bolt (1) for fastening the adjustment handle,
- adjustment handle.
Note: Mark the position of the locking mechanism before removal.
Remove:
- nut (2) of the adjustment handle axis,
- needle bearing,
- adjustment handle axis assembled with locking mechanism.
Installation
Note: When installing the handle axle, make sure that the two toothed segments (3) are installed correctly.
Install:
- the adjustment handle axis assembled with the locking mechanism,
- needle bearing,
- adjustment handle axle nut,
- adjustment handle,
- adjustment handle mounting bolt.
Note: The tightness of the handle axle determines the amount of force required to use it. Move the handle several times to determine if it is tightened correctly.
Connect the connectors.
Install:
- electronic engine immobilizer ring,
- steering wheel covers,
- screws on the lower steering column cover.
Connect the battery.
