- raise the front of the car, place safety supports under the body and remove both wheels;
- remove the exhaust pipe;

- from underneath the vehicle, remove the front suspension subframe reinforcements (Fig. 5.5) on each side;
- unscrew the stabilizer mount from both suspension arms, marking the position of the rubber bushings;
- unscrew the bolts of the clamps securing the stabilizer bar to the subframe;
- remove the stabilizer from under the car;
- inspect the stabilizer parts, paying particular attention to the rubber bushings, and replace any damaged parts.
Installation procedure:
- place rubber bushings on the stabilizer bar and install it in place without completely tightening the clamp mounting bolts;
- secure the ends of the stabilizer to the suspension arms, installing rubber bushings according to the marks and without completely tightening the bolts and nuts;
- install the exhaust pipe;
- install subframe reinforcements;
- lower the vehicle onto its wheels and tighten the stabilizer mounting bolts to the specified torque, starting with the clamp mounting bolts.
