- on vehicles with electric windows, disconnect the negative battery cable;
- remove the door trim;
- remove the door glass as described below, or lift it up and tape it down so it doesn't fall;

- on models with electric windows, disconnect the contact connector from the window lift motor (Fig. 9.66);

- unscrew the window regulator mounting nuts (Fig. 9.67) and the two bolts securing the glass guide channel to the door (Fig. 9.68);

- carefully remove the window regulator through the lower opening in the door.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Before installing the door trim, check the operation of the window lifter.
