- remove the door trim as described above;

- inside the door, release the locking catch and disconnect the lock control rod from the lock or handle. When disconnecting the rod from the handle, remember its position to facilitate adjustment during installation (Fig. 9.56);

- unscrew the two nuts securing the handle from the inside of the door (Fig. 9.57), turn the handle and remove it from the outside of the door.
The handle is installed in the reverse order of removal.
