Removal



1. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

2. Perform the operations pp. 1-3 Chapter 11, but do not remove the glass completely. Secure the glass in the fully raised position using adhesive tape or wedges.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the window lift motor (see illustration).

4. Unscrew the 3 screws securing the electric motor and window lift mechanism to the door.

5. Remove the two upper bolts and one lower screw securing the glass guide (see illustration).

6. Tilt the entire assembly and remove it from the door opening.

Installation



7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. The mechanism is adjusted as follows. Center the glass in the guide before tightening the two bolts securing its clip to it. As soon as the guide mounting bolts are unscrewed, fully raise the glass and tighten one of the upper guide mounting bolts. Lower the glass, tighten the lower bolt and the remaining upper bolt. Check the operation of the window lifter, make additional adjustments if necessary.
