Removal



1. Remove the inner door trim (see Chapter 7).

2. Remove the sealing brushes from the top of the door frame.

3. Install the glass in such a position that the lower bolts of the glass fastening in its frame will be visible. In cars of later production there are special holes for this. Unscrew these bolts (see illustration).

4. Remove the glass by grasping it by the top corner and turning it slightly forward.

5. When installing a new glass, check whether it has a mounting clip. If it is missing, move the clip from the old glass. In this case, the rear edge of the clip should not reach the edge of the glass by 200 mm (in cars of the 1st and 2nd stages of production) or 225 mm (in cars of the 3rd stage of production).

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
