- on a vehicle with electric windows, disconnect the negative battery cable;
- remove the door trim;
- lower the window by temporarily installing the window handle or connecting the contact connector;

- carefully remove the inner and outer seals from the window opening (Fig. 9.75);

- if the old glass is to be installed, mark the position of the two screws securing the glass to the window regulator bracket, remove the screws and carefully lower the glass into the door (Fig. 9.76);

- unscrew the upper mounting bolt (Fig. 9.77) and the lower nut securing the rear guide channel to the door (Fig. 9.78). Support the fixed door glass, carefully unfold the guide channel and remove it through the window opening;
- remove the drop glass through the window opening.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Before installing the trim, check the operation of the window lift mechanism.
