To get it:
- open the tailgate or trunk lid;
- lift the rugs;
- unscrew the central fastening 1 and remove the spare wheel (fig. 1.100).

If the spare tire has been stored for several years, take it to a service mechanic to check that it is safe to use.
Note: The tire pressure monitoring system does not recognize the spare tire, so the spare tire symbol is not displayed on the instrument cluster display.
A vehicle equipped with a spare wheel with a small tire
When using such a spare tire, the driving speed should not exceed 30 mph.
