B - Adjustment of air temperature.
C - Fan speed control.
D - Distribution of air flows in the passenger compartment.
E - Control and control lamp for heating and blowing the rear window and heating the outside rear-view mirrors (depending on vehicle configuration).
F - Control and control lamp for turning on the air conditioning system (depending on vehicle configuration).
Air temperature control
Set the knob to the desired air temperature (pic. 1.78). The more the control is moved towards the red zone, the higher the temperature.
If you use the air conditioner for a long time, you may experience a feeling of hypothermia. In this case, add warm air by turning knob B to the right.
The distribution of air flows entering the passenger compartment
Turn knob D to select the position corresponding to the desired mode (pic. 1.78).
All air flow is directed to blowing the windshield and side windows.
Air enters the passenger compartment through the windshield and side window vents, the driver's and passengers' foot vents.
This position is recommended for maximum comfort during the cold season.
The air is directed to the feet of the driver and passengers.
Air is directed to all ventilation grilles and to the feet of the driver and passengers.
This position is recommended for maximum comfort in hot weather.
Air enters the cabin only through the ventilation grilles.
To quickly eliminate glass fogging, set the controls to :
- outdoor air;
- Maximum temperature;
- airflow
Turning on the air conditioner speeds up the demisting of the windows.
Fan speed control
During normal operation
Turn knob C to one of four positions to turn on the fan and adjust its speed.
In position 1, the fan speed will be minimum, and in position 4 - maximum.
Position 0
In this position:
- the air conditioning system switches off automatically even if the F button is pressed (the control lamp continues to burn);
- the fan does not supply air to the cabin;
- while the car is moving, a weak air flow enters the passenger compartment.
Under normal operating conditions, this position should be avoided.
Switching on the air recirculation mode (interior isolation mode from outside air)
Set knob A to recirculated air position .
In this mode, the air is taken from the passenger compartment and circulated in it without the intake of outside air.
Air recirculation mode allows you to:
- isolate the cabin from the influx of outside air (while driving through polluted areas, etc.);
- accelerate the achievement of the required air temperature in the car.
Using the air recirculation mode for a long time can cause fogging of the windshield and side windows, as well as unpleasant odors, since the air in the vehicle interior is not renewed.
Therefore, as soon as the need for air recirculation disappears, return to normal operation of the system (with outside air intake), by turning Knob A to .
