- disconnect the negative battery cable;
- remove the ashtray;
- remove the center console;

- unscrew the two screws securing the panel (Fig. 8.81) and remove it;

- disconnect cables 1 (Fig. 8.82) from the panel, contact connectors 2 and drive cables from the levers of the turning mechanisms on the air distributor unit.
