Removal
1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Warning! If the radio in your car is coded, make sure you know the code before disconnecting the battery.
2. Remove the steering wheel and steering column covers as described in Chapter Suspension and steering.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition switch.
4. Loosen and remove the ignition switch mounting bolt.
5. Insert the ignition key and turn it to position "3".
6. Press the side clips and remove the ignition switch together with the electrical wiring.
Installation
1. Install in reverse order. Make sure the electrical wiring is installed correctly.
