There is no TDC sensor on the camshaft of the first cylinder piston, therefore synchronization of the control of the system elements with the engine operating process is carried out according to the program using the signals of the TDC sensor. The engine is started in a semi-sequential mode (to synchronize the control of system elements with the engine operating process), then switches to sequential synchronized mode.
K4M engines are equipped with a TDC sensor of the piston of the first cylinder on the camshaft. Synchronization of control of system elements with the working process of the engine (determining the TDC of the piston of the 1st cylinder) is carried out according to the signal of this sensor. The engine is started in semi-sequential mode (to synchronize the control of system elements with the engine operating process). then goes into sequential synchronized mode.
Injection warning light on the instrument panel
A special injection warning lamp is installed (the signal lamp of the on-board diagnostic system "Op Board Diagnostic"). The presence of this warning lamp is due to the installation of the 08D "Op Board Diagnostic" on-board diagnostic system.
Special precautions due to the presence of an electronic anti-theft engine immobilizer system.
Due to the installation of the third generation electronic anti-theft engine start blocking system, the ECU is replaced using a special technique.
Attention! When this system is installed, the lock code is stored in the ECU memory for the entire service life.
In addition, this system does not have an unlock code.
For this reason, it is prohibited to carry out tests using ECUs taken from another vehicle.
It is impossible to decode such ECUs later.
Returnless fuel delivery system (the pressure regulator is installed on the fuel pump-fuel level sensor unit). Idle mode:
- rated idle speed: 750 min⁻¹;
- idle speed with automatic transmission: 750 min⁻¹.
Idle speed is adjusted depending on:
- air conditioning system operation;
- information from the power steering pressure relay;
- battery voltage;
- turning on the windshield heating.
Maximum engine crankshaft speed
When the coolant temperature is below 75 'C for the F4P engine and 60 'C for the K4M engine, or for no more than 10 s, when the engine is running at a crankshaft speed of 5800 min', the fuel supply is stopped in order to protect the "cold" engine.
If the engine is hot, the fuel supply is stopped at a given value of the engine crankshaft speed:
- in 1st and 2nd gear (depending on SRBCI): 6500 min 1 for the K4M engine and 6300 min⁻¹ for the F4P engine.
- in 3rd, 4th and 5th gears: 6500 min 'for the K4M engine and 6300 min 'for the F4P engine.
The purge solenoid valve of the absorber is controlled according to the law of cyclic opening depending on the engine speed and the pressure in the intake manifold.
The electric fan of the engine cooling system and the coolant temperature indicator lamp on the instrument panel are controlled by the injection system ECU (centralized Coolant Temperature Control function).
Automatic configuration for operation of the speed controller/limiter and air conditioning system,
The injection system ECU that controls the activation of the air conditioning compressor.
Use of two oxygen sensors installed before and after the catalytic converter.
The camshaft phase regulator is controlled by an electromagnetic valve, to which control commands are sent from the injection system ECU (only on F4P engine).
Throttle valve unit with servo drive for regulating air flow and idle speed.
