Idle test

After closing the pipeline from the fuel tank on the absorber, connect a pressure gauge (±3 bar) (Mot. 1311-01) to the opening of the absorber atmosphere communication (M).

In the absence of vacuum (under the same conditions, the value read from the diagnostic tool for the parameter: "Degree of cyclic opening of the electromagnetic valve for purging the absorber" remains minimal.

If there is a vacuum, when installing the card in the reader in the 1st fixed position, use a vacuum pump to create a vacuum of 500 mbar at the output of the electromagnetic valve. The vacuum should not change by more than 10 mbar in 30 s.

If the pressure changes, the solenoid valve is faulty and must be replaced.

If the pressure does not change, there is an electrical fault, check the circuit.

If there is no vacuum, and the purge conditions are met (see "purge conditions"), the vacuum increases (at the same time, the value of the parameter on the diagnostic device screen increases).
