Release adsorber (1) out of the latch on the fuel tank by moving it in the direction of the arrow.
Disconnect the vapor lines from the fuel tank supplying vapor to the solenoid valve.
Disconnect the vent tube and remove the adsorber.
Examination
Muffle on an adsorber a branch pipe of the pipeline coming from a fuel tank.
Removing the adsorber:
1 - pipeline for supplying vapor from the fuel tank;
2 - pipeline for supplying vapors to the solenoid valve;
3 - tube communication with the atmosphere.
Connect instrument pressure gauge (Mot. 1311-01) to the atmospheric connection of the absorber.
When the engine is idling, check that there is no vacuum in the connection with the atmosphere of the adsorber (and also that the value of the parameter Readable on the device The degree of cyclic opening of the absorber purge solenoid valve remains minimal X is less than or equal to 1.5%).
If there is a vacuum, with the ignition off, use a vacuum pump to create a vacuum of 500 mbar at the output of the solenoid valve. The vacuum must not change by more than 10 mbar in 30 seconds.
If the pressure changes, the solenoid valve is faulty, replace it.
If the pressure does not change, under the purge conditions, the vacuum should increase (at the same time, the value of the parameter on the screen of the diagnostic tool should increase).
Under this condition, there is an electrical fault, check the circuit.
