Removal
- Raise the car.
- Remove the bolts securing the Panhard transverse link to the body brackets and rear suspension beam, while on a vehicle without an anti-lock braking system, do not disturb the position of the brake force regulator
- Remove the tie rod from the vehicle
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Apply grease to the bolts.
- Compress the rear suspension with straps or load the car until the size is obtained. measured between the rear floor cross member and the floor equal to 408 mm (H5, fig. 11.3). This size is obtained on a car with approximately the following load: with five seats installed, a full fuel tank, and a payload of 50 kg. driver and three passengers in the cabin. Check size H5.
