Removal
- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
- Through the valve on the tee (fig. 11.8) release compressed air from the system.
- Disconnect the pipe from the tee.
- Disconnect the electrical wiring connector under the right rear wheel arch trim and release the wire guides.
- Loosen 3 bolts (1. Fig. 11.14) compressor mounts.

- Remove the compressor bracket.
- Place the compressor assembly on the workbench.
- Remove the 3 compressor mounting bolts and remove the compressor cover.
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Each time the compressor assembly is removed, replace the O-ring of the disconnected line and the compressor housing cover seal.
