Removal
- The air supply device is mounted on a bracket.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
- Use a charging station to discharge refrigerant from the air conditioning system circuit
- Starting from the corner, lift the upper instrument cluster trim vertically, releasing the three upper clips
- Remove the screws of the rear instrument cluster mounting.
- Remove the side mounting screws located under the buffers in the sound-absorbing foam.
- Pull the instrument cluster forward.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the instrument cluster and remove it.
- To access the air distribution unit cover, remove most of the sound insulation.
- Disconnect the two air ducts connecting the air supply unit to the air distribution units.
- Disconnect the power wires from the fan motors and the air recirculation motor.
- Unscrew the 4 plastic nuts and remove the front noise insulation part.
- Remove the front elastic support.
- Disconnect the junction box in the engine compartment
- Move the instrument panel aside.
- Disconnect the condensate drain elbow pipe
- Remove 4 bolts securing the fan shroud bracket
- Remove the fan shroud and evaporator assembly from under the instrument panel on the front passenger side
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Using a charging station, charge refrigerant into the air conditioning system circuit
- In various modes, check the correct operation of the recirculation flaps, the operation of the fans and the entire air conditioning system
