Removal
- The air supply device is installed on a bracket.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
- Use the charging station to discharge the refrigerant from the air conditioning circuit
- Starting at a corner, lift the upper trim of the instrument cluster vertically until the three upper latches are released
- Remove the rear mounting screws for the instrument cluster.
- Remove the side mounting screws located under the buffers in the sound-absorbing foam.
- Pull the instrument cluster forward.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the instrument cluster and remove it.
- To access the air distribution unit cover, remove most of the sound insulation.
- Disconnect the two air ducts connecting the air supply unit to the air distribution units.
- Disconnect the power wires from the fan motors and air recirculation motor.
- Unscrew the 4 plastic nuts and remove part of the front soundproofing cover.
- Remove the front elastic support.
- Disconnect the connection block in the engine compartment
- Move aside the instrument panel.
- Disconnect the condensate drain elbow
- Remove the 4 bolts securing the fan casing bracket
- Remove the fan shroud/evaporator assembly from under the instrument panel on the front passenger side
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Using the charging station, charge the refrigerant into the air conditioning system
- In various modes, check the correct operation of the recirculation dampers. operation of fans and the entire air conditioning system
