Removal
- Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery
- Use the charging station to discharge the refrigerant from the air conditioning system circuit.
- Remove the right front wheel, the right wheel arch mudguard and the engine sump guard.
- Remove the accessory drive belt.
- Disconnect the power wire from the compressor clutch
- Remove two bolts and disconnect the lines from the compressor
- Remove the compressor mounting bolts and remove it.
Installation
- The new compressor is supplied filled with oil. When working on the air conditioning circuit components, strictly follow the instructions for topping up with oil
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal
- When connecting the pipes to the compressor, lubricate the gaskets with the oil used for the compressor
- Install the accessory drive belt and adjust its tension.
- Using a charging station, charge the air conditioning system with refrigerant.
