Removal


  • Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery
  • Use the charging station to discharge the refrigerant from the air conditioning system circuit.
  • Remove the right front wheel, the right wheel arch mudguard and the engine sump guard.
  • Remove the accessory drive belt.
  • Disconnect the power wire from the compressor clutch
  • Remove two bolts and disconnect the lines from the compressor
  • Remove the compressor mounting bolts and remove it.

Installation


  • The new compressor is supplied filled with oil. When working on the air conditioning circuit components, strictly follow the instructions for topping up with oil
  • Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal
  • When connecting the pipes to the compressor, lubricate the gaskets with the oil used for the compressor
  • Install the accessory drive belt and adjust its tension.
  • Using a charging station, charge the air conditioning system with refrigerant.
