Removal
- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
- Remove both steering column switch covers.
- Remove the left lower console, console under the steering column and the driver's side cover.
- The central control unit is secured with 3 bolts. It is electrically connected via two connectors at the top and two connectors at the bottom (fig. 14.18).
- Remove the bolts securing the central control unit.
- Disconnect the connectors at the top and bottom of the central control unit.
- Remove the central control unit from its socket.

Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Connect the wiring harness to the central control unit.
- Screw in the central control unit mounting bolts.
- Reinstall the fabric tape and the two steering column switch covers.
- Perform programming.
