The frame is the base of the slipway and serves to install and fix a damaged car, power racks, tensioners and other devices on it that provide hydraulic straightening of damaged
bodies. The frame is made of a large channel and is an intersection of a box profile with grooves 20 mm wide, located along and across the entire frame area. This frame design allows you to mount a car on it (body), install the necessary devices at various points regarding the damaged areas of the body being repaired.
The power rack with a drive, various supports, extensions, extensions, chains and other devices are designed to transfer mechanical effects from the hydraulic cylinder to the deformed parts of the body.
Depending on the category of damage and its location on the body, the car may arrive on the slipway assembly, partially disassembled (without front or rear suspension) or only in the form of a body.
Install and straighten the emergency body by stretching on the slipway in the following order:
- install car (body) in the center of the stand;
- hang out the car (body) on stands using a jack and clamps mounted on power transverse pipes, and secure the body to the ribs of the thresholds;
- attach the car body to the foundation frame with braces at the anchor points of the power transverse pipes;

- fix the spherical support 3 (pic. 9.125) on frame 1 with wedges 2. Having assembled the power rack, install it in a spherical support 3. The length of the rack is selected so that it allows you to apply the necessary tensile force. The direction of the force must match the direction of impact;
- fix the clamp or some other tool on the damaged area of the body;
- chain the damaged part of the body and the foundation frame through the power rack support;
- straighten the body by pressurizing the power rack cylinder with a foot operated hydraulic pump.
For straightening the body, up to four power racks with chains and devices can be used simultaneously, which must have different combinations in length and be set at different angles depending on the impacts received.

Device (pic. 9.126) it is fixed with the help of clamping devices at any points for the lower shelves of the transverse or longitudinal beams of the stand frame.
Editing emergency bodies is carried out as follows:
- install the emergency body on the slipway, fix its undamaged part in the support brackets and additionally fasten it to the threshold stiffening ribs;
- determine the area of work and the direction of application of tensile forces, roll the device under the slipway;
- fasten the device to the frame of the slipway with the wedges of the clamping devices;
- install and fix with a stopper in the required position the power lever and the rotary beam;
- connect the lever to the deformed body parts using a set of chains, clamps and gripping devices;
- move the lever using a hydraulic tool.

The screw fixture consists of a screw jack, screw 1 (pic. 9.127), a knob 2 and two bushings 3 with right and left threads, clamps B, adapters D, several extensions D, various stops and clamps. With the help of these elements, work is carried out to correct distortions in the engine compartment, trunk, inside the passenger compartment, door openings.

hydraulic attachment (pic. 9.128) consists of a tool kit that includes a hydraulic pump, hose and a range of extensions. Various adapters or supports are attached to the ends of the extension cords using clamps.
