"Impulse" electric windows

The pulse mode of operation of the window lifters complements the above-described mode of operation of the electric window lifters.

This function can be equipped with:
  • driver's door window only;
  • all windows.

The controls are the same as those for regular window lifts.

Non-pulse mode

  • Press the appropriate switch to lower the window and release the switch when the window has lowered to the desired level.
  • Lift the appropriate switch to raise the glass and release the switch when the glass has risen to the desired height.

Pulse mode

  • Briefly press the corresponding switch: the glass will lower completely.
  • Pull the corresponding switch sharply: the glass will rise completely.

Pressing the switch again while the window is operating will stop the window from moving.

Raising the windows using the remote control

(for vehicles equipped with pulse electric windows)

If, when locking the doors from the outside, you press the Renault card lock button or the side door or tailgate handle buttons twice in a row (in hands-free mode), the windows will rise automatically.

For safety reasons, the car is equipped with a window lifting force limitation system, which stops and lowers the window by approximately 5 cm if it encounters an obstacle in its path (for example, fingers, an animal's paw, a tree branch, etc.).

Malfunctions

If one of the windows does not close, the system switches to non-pulse mode: press the corresponding switch as many times as necessary to raise the glass, then hold the switch down (everything is still in the direction of ascent) within one second to reset the window regulator.
