Towing a car on all four wheels can be carried out at a speed not exceeding the maximum allowable according to traffic rules. Towing eyelets are located at the front and rear of the vehicle.
When towing a vehicle equipped with an automatic transmission, the front wheels must be off the ground. At the same time, to capture the car, a special towing device must be used, which is attached not to the bumper, but to the main beam of the frame.
When towing, the parking brake must be fully released and the transmission in neutral.
Steering shaft must be unlocked (key in position "M"). Remember that when the engine is off, the power steering system and the vacuum brake booster do not function.
Avoid towing another vehicle with the front towing eyelets.
Traffic safety is one of the main requirements when towing a car, so strictly follow the traffic rules while towing.
