The towing eyes can only be used for towing the vehicle on the road. The eyelets must not be used to pull the vehicle out of a ditch or directly or indirectly to lift it.
Carry out towing on a rigid hitch. When towing with a rope or cable (if permitted by applicable law) The brake system of the towed vehicle must be in good condition.
Do not tow a vehicle with a defective undercarriage.
Avoid jerking when accelerating and braking, as this may cause a malfunction of the vehicle. In all cases, it is recommended to tow at a speed of no more than 50 km/h.
Screw in and lock the towing eye before towing. Vehicles with automatic transmission: carry the vehicle on a platform or tow with the front wheels raised. In exceptional cases, towing at a speed not exceeding 20 km/h and a distance of not more than 30 km is possible (selector lever must be in neutral position).
If, with the brake pedal depressed, the selector lever is locked in position «R», then it can be removed from this position manually.
To do this, insert a rigid rod into hole 2, and at the same time press the rod and the release button 1 located on the selector lever handle.
Vehicles with a Renault card: in the event of a battery failure, the steering column remains locked. In this case, connect a good battery or power source to lock the airbag computer using the scan tool, which will unlock the steering column.
If the airbag computer cannot be locked, gently raise the front of the vehicle.

Fully screw in the lug provided in the driver's tool kit located in the trunk inside the spare wheel.
Elevator lift
To remove heavy aggregates from the vehicle, it is preferable to use a four-post lift.
If the vehicle is on a two-post lift, the vehicle may tip over after removing the power unit, rear suspension or transmission. Install a safety strap (or belts), as described below.
Lifting with a mobile jack
Attention. To avoid accidents, the rolling jack must only be used to lift and/or move the vehicle. Then the car must be put on stands that can withstand its weight.
To place the vehicle on stands, lift it on one side in areas (3) And (1) and install stands under the amplifiers provided for the installation of a standard jack in areas (4) And (2).
Belt installation
For safety reasons, these belts must always be in good condition. Replace belts at the first sign of damage.
When installing the belts, make sure that the protectors are properly installed on the seats and decorative places of the car.
Tipping forward
Pass the belt under the right rear suspension arm.
Pass the belt through the car interior.
Pass the belt under the left rear suspension arm.
Pass the belt through the vehicle again.
Tighten the strap.
Tipping back
Pass the belt under the right front suspension arm.
Pass the belt through the car interior.
Pass the belt under the left front suspension arm.
Pass the belt through the vehicle again.
Tighten the strap.
Permitted lifting points
To raise the vehicle, set the lift arm stops as shown below, being careful not to damage the bottom of the body sill.
Attention.
- Do not lift the vehicle against the front panel.
- Do not rest the jack on points that are not intended for lifting the car.
- Do not place props under the jack rests.
