Removal
To remove the rear pre-catalytic converter, the front bank pre-catalytic converter must be removed.

Remove:
- air duct 1;
- box for laying wire harness 2.

Disconnect:
- throttle body with servo drive 3;
- absolute pressure sensor 4;
- vacuum hose for brake booster 5:
- two pipes located under the throttle body with servo drive.
Remove:
- intake manifold mounting bolts 6;
- collector, moving it towards the battery.
Disconnect the oxygen sensor connectors and disconnect the wiring harnesses.

Remove:
- collector heat shield:
- nuts of studs for fastening the flange of the inlet pipe to the manifold;
- oxygen sensors;
- two bolts 7 fastening the brace of the preliminary catalytic converter of the rear row of cylinders.

Remove the pre-catalytic converter.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Insert the studs into the pre-catalytic converter flange.
Replace the gaskets with new ones.
Note: Before tightening the front subframe strut bolts, make sure they are securely supported by the two axles welded to the body.
Observe tightening torques.
Make sure the steering column lock is securely in place
If this is not the case, the steering column height will need to be readjusted.
