General information
Vehicles with automatic transmissions are equipped with systems «Shift lock and lock up».
System «Shift Lock» blocks the movement of the selector lever if the brake pedal is not pressed at the same time.
Note. When providing technical assistance in case of failure of the battery, follow the instructions in the vehicle operating instructions.
System «Lock Up» or torque converter lock-up allows the automatic transmission to be directly coupled to the engine. This is realized thanks to «mini clutch», installed in the torque converter.
System «Lock Up» controlled by the automatic transmission computer.
Lubrication of the automatic transmission is carried out under pressure, therefore, it is provided only when the engine is running.

Therefore, in order to avoid serious damage, the following rules must be observed:
- never drive with the ignition off (e.g. downhill);
- do not move the car by pushing it (for example, to drive to a gas station). If the need arises, take precautions.
Since the vehicle's wheels are driven only when the engine is running, it is not possible to start the vehicle's engine with an automatic transmission by pushing it.
Automatic transmission identification
Gearbox can be identified by engraving (1), printed on the gearbox cover, and on the sticker (2), affixed to the side of the gearbox.
