The power module is integrated into the injection system ECU. The ignition system uses the same sensors as the injection system.
Ignition coils (four, according to the number of cylinders) are secured directly to the spark plugs using a bolt on the cylinder head cover.
The injection system ECU supplies power to the ignition coils sequentially in pairs:
- via contact CM4 for ignition coils of cylinders 1 and 4;
- via contact CM3 for ignition coils of cylinders 2 and 3.

Removal
Remove the top engine covers. Disconnect the battery cables from the terminals, starting with the negative terminal.
Disconnect the wire connectors from the ignition coils and unscrew the coil mounting bolts.
Disconnecting the wire connectors from the ignition coils:
1 - wire blocks;
2 - coil mounting bolts.
Attention: Damaged socket parts of connectors must be replaced.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Apply a 2mm bead of FLUOSTAR 2L (3) grease to the inside edge of the high tension wire boots on all four ignition coils.
Be sure to replace the ignition coil mounting bolts.
Install the ignition coils with new bolts.
Tighten the coil mounting bolts to the specified torque of 14 Nm.
Connect the wire connectors to the ignition coils.

Install the top engine cover.
