Note: Always replace the alternator pulley with a breakaway clutch with the same type of pulley.
Remove the generator.
Secure the generator in a vice.
Install the hexagonal head (1) from the alternator pulley removal and installation tool kit (Mot. 1732) into the pulley.
Install the tip (1) from the alternator pulley removal and installation tool kit (Mot. 1732) (corresponding to the shape of the hole in the generator rotor) into a hex head.

Place the ratchet (1) on the tip.
Holding the hexagon head 1) with a flat key (2), unscrew the pulley with the release clutch (3) with a ratchet key (4) (turning the ratchet wrench counterclockwise).

Screw the pulley with the disengaging clutch onto the generator rotor.
Install:
- hexagonal bushing in the generator;
- tip (corresponding to the shape of the generator rotor hole);
- ratchet on the tip.
Tighten the generator release pulley to the required torque (80 Nm) using a torque wrench.
Install the generator on the vehicle.
