Tightening torques: Generator pulley - 80 Nm.
Removal
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
Remove:
- accessory drive belt,
- generator.
Disconnect the generator pulley guard (if installed).
Secure the generator in a vice with soft jaws.

Install the hex head (1) or slotted head (2) from the kit or into the alternator pulley (depending on the model).

Note: Be sure to use a pneumatic or electric impact wrench to loosen the alternator pulley.

Remove:
- devices,
- generator pulley.
Parts that must be replaced:
- Accessory drive belt
- Accessory Drive Belt Idler Pulley
- Auxiliary Drive Belt Tensioner
- Auxiliary Drive Belt Tensioner Roller Fastening Bolt
- Generator pulley
Installation
Installing the generator pulley.
Tighten the new alternator pulley.

Install:
- hex head (3) or slotted head (6) into the generator pulley (depending on the model),
- tip (4) into the protrusion on the generator rotor,
- holder (5) of the device on the tip.

Secure the generator rotor with the key (7).

Tighten the alternator pulley to the specified torque (80 Nm) using a torque wrench (8) with a 15 mm fork-type torque wrench.

Remove the devices.
Secure the new guard to the alternator pulley (if installed).
Install:
- generator,
- accessory drive belt.
Connect the battery.
