1. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the hoses between the air filter (1) and the turbocharger (see illustration).

2. Disconnect the hose between the charge air cooler (3) and the turbocharger. Also disconnect the outlet hose (2).

3. Remove the heat shield (4).

4. Disconnect the exhaust pipe (1) (see illustration) from the turbocharger connection unit.

5. Remove the union nut to disconnect the inlet oil pipe. Also disconnect the outlet oil pipe.

6. Disconnect the turbocharger from the holder (3) and remove the nuts (4) securing it to the exhaust manifold. Carefully remove the supercharger without damaging the boost pressure regulator.

7. Before installation, clean the connecting surfaces of the turbocharger and exhaust manifold.

8. Use new nuts to connect the turbocharger to the manifold. Also replace the oil feed and return line seals.

9. Before starting the engine, fill the turbocharger with oil.
