Additional fog lights can also be installed as elegantly and vibration-free as the original fog lights shown here. The main requirement for this is the availability of original parts from Renault, as described below. In addition, a certain amount of skill is required for installation. To replace the bulb, remove the plastic cover (1) and loosen the mounting screw (2). Then pull the headlight out completely forward. The height of the headlight can be adjusted using the adjusting screw (3).

Fog lights should be installed as low as possible so that they can "break through" the fog lying on the ground. Most fog lights offered for sale are designed for vertical installation, in which case the fog lights are almost at the same height as the main headlights. In our opinion, it is more convenient to mount the original fog lights in the bumper, that is, the way they are installed on certain Renault models produced in series. If you want to install fog lights sold in auto parts stores, then be sure to make sure before buying that these fog lights are designed for "suspended" installation. In addition, it is advisable for you to buy these fog lights in a Renault auto parts store so that the fog light switch fits the dashboard.

Precise installation recommendations and templates are included with installation offers for foreigners, and the scope of electrical work and installation technology is also described there. If you purchased original Renault 19 fog lights, you can use the electrical connection diagram provided in the section Electrical diagrams.
