The switch is located on the sun visor mirror cover (Fig. 7.37).

Current is supplied to the lamp through the central mount of the sun visor (Fig. 7.38).
Note: The operation of the switch is checked using a multimeter.
Verification algorithm:
- the mirror cover is closed (the switch is open) - the lamp does not light - the resistance is equal to infinity;
- the mirror cover is open (the switch is closed) - the lamp is on - the resistance is zero.
