Removal

Remove the lock cylinder trim (Fig. 8.44).

Insert a hook made from scrap materials into the hole (Fig. 8.45).

Place the hook behind the lock cylinder lock plate (Fig. 8.46).

Lock the locking bar (Fig. 8.47).

Unlock the locking bar and remove the lock cylinder (Fig. 8.48).
Caution: Before inserting the lock cylinder into the socket, make sure that the locking plate is unlocked.

Unlock the locking bar (Fig. 8.49).
Install the lock cylinder in place.

Use a screwdriver to lock the door lock cylinder lock plate (Fig. 8.50).
Check the operation of the lock cylinder manually.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
