- Place the vehicle on a flat, horizontal surface.
- Make sure the vehicle is unloaded and the fuel tank is full of fuel.
- Do not get into a car while working.
- Check your tire pressure and open the hood.
- Connect the diagnostic tool. Enter the dialogue with the command "DISCHARGE LAMP".
- Turn on the ignition and low beam headlights

- To check whether the system is configured correctly, you can look at the following values in the list of parameters:
- front sensor signal - front sensor height;
- rear sensor signal - rear sensor height.
- Without turning off the ignition, use a special device to adjust the headlight beam in the vertical plane with the screw (1, Fig. 15.36) and in the horizontal plane with a screw (2).
- The vehicle's ground clearance should not be changed between adjusting the control unit and adjusting the headlights, as these two operations are inseparable from each other.
