- Keeping your windshield wiper blades in perfect condition is essential for good visibility.
- To avoid deformation of the brushes, it is necessary to regularly clean them with glass cleaner. If the brushes are heavily soiled, for example with insect remains, they should be cleaned with a sponge or clean cloth.
- It is recommended to replace your windshield wiper blades once or twice a year.
- In frosty weather, before each first turn on of the windshield wipers during the trip, you should check to see if the blades are frozen to the glass.
- When washing your car automatically, wax particles may get on the windshield. To remove them, add a glass cleaner that has the property of dissolving wax to the windshield washer reservoir.
- Filling the fluid reservoir with a glass cleaner with solvent-resolving properties can significantly improve the performance of your windshield wipers. Grease-dissolving cleaners do not clean glass completely. Damaged brushes, which can cause poor glass cleaning, should be replaced.
