Place the car on a level, horizontal surface.
Caution! Do not apply the parking brake.
Make sure the vehicle is unloaded and has fuel. Do not enter the vehicle while work is being performed.
Check the tire pressure and open the hood.
Connect diagnostic tools and check for any faults.
Turn on the ignition, low beam, select ECU and confirm your choice.
Enter the command: "AC 010: ECU setup".
Checking initialization
The front sensor value corresponding to parameter "PR017: Front body height" must be identical to the initial value of the front body height (PR004),
The rear sensor value corresponding to parameter "PR018: Rear height" must be identical to the original rear height value (PR005).
Without turning off the ignition, use the headlight adjustment device to adjust the headlight beam in the vertical plane with screw D and in the horizontal plane with screw E.
Important! The vehicle height must not be changed between initialization and headlight adjustment. These two operations are inseparable.
System initialization is not possible:
- if the vehicle speed signal is missing or not zero;
- if the sensor position is outside the tolerance;
- if the ECU configuration is not performed correctly.
