Operation of the response delay
Interior lighting devices (lampshades and lanterns 8 niche for feet) light up immediately upon command from the Central Electrification Committee:
- when opening one of the doors or the luggage compartment;
- when unlocking opening elements with the remote control (or using the "hands-free" function);
- when removing the Renault card from the reader.
Depending on the situation, the interior lighting is switched off by the central electronic control unit with or without a delay.
Shutdown without delay
When locking opening elements using the remote control (opening elements are closed).
Delayed shutdown
After closing the last opening element.
When unlocking opening elements with the remote control.
When the ignition is turned on.
Note: If one of the opening elements is not closed for a long time and the ignition is not switched on or off, the UEC initiates switching off the interior lighting after approximately 15 minutes.

Depending on the configuration, the mirrors may be equipped with backlighting lights installed in the roof trim.
The switch is located on the cover 1 of the mirror in the sun visor 2. Power is supplied to the lamp 3 through the central mount 4 of the sun visor.
Note: The operation of the switch can be checked through the mounting contacts:
- the mirror cover is closed (the switch is open) = the lamp does not light = the resistance is equal to infinity,
- the mirror cover is open (the switch is closed) = the light is on = the resistance is zero,
