Please note: The operations described below apply only to vehicles of the 3rd production stage.
Mirror glass
Removal
1. Insert a thin-bladed screwdriver between the mirror glass and the bottom edge of its frame and remove the metal mounting rim by pushing it inside the mirror housing.
2. Remove the glass from the socket.
Installation
3. Install the metal rim onto the mirror housing protrusions (see illustration). Place the glass in the desired position by pressing on it from the outside.

4. Remove the outside rearview mirror.
5. Remove the glass from the mirror housing (see above).
6. In mirrors with manual adjustment: unscrew the 4 screws that secure it, unfasten the cables from the buttons, remembering their location, and remove the drive mechanism (see illustration).

7. For electric mirrors: remove 3 screws, disconnect the connector and remove the electric motor.
8. To remove the mirror housing, unscrew the 5 screws inside the mirror and remove the front trim. Unscrew the 4 screws hidden under the trim and the 7 screws of the second (motionless) mirror trim parts. Separate the housing parts.
Installation
9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
