Removal
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
Remove the rear wheel.
Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor from the holders (1).
Loosen the bolt (2) securing the rear wheel speed sensor to the brake shield.

Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor (3) from the mounting tab on the brake shield.
Remove:
- nuts (4) for fastening the rear wheel speed sensor shield,
- holders (5) of the rear wheel speed sensor shield.

Slightly tilt and bend the rear wheel speed sensor shield.
Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor from the holders (6).
Disconnect the wheel speed sensor connector (7) on the rear ABS wiring harness.

Remove the rear wheel speed sensor.
Installation
Caution! To avoid damaging the wheel speed sensor wiring harness:
- do not subject the wiring harness to stress,
- do not twist the wire harness,
- make sure it does not come into contact with surrounding parts,
- do not use tools that may damage the wiring harness.
Connect the wheel speed sensor connector to the rear ABS wiring harness.
Attach the rear wheel speed sensor to the shield.
Install:
- rear wheel speed sensor shield on the body,
- rear wheel speed sensor shield mounting nuts,
- rear wheel speed sensor shield holders.
Tighten the rear wheel speed sensor shield mounting nuts to the specified torque (14 Nm).
Install the rear wheel speed sensor onto the mounting tab on the brake shield.
Tighten the rear wheel speed sensor mounting bolt.
Tighten the wheel speed sensor mounting bolt to the specified torque (7 Nm).
Secure the rear wheel speed sensor.
Install the rear wheel.
