General information
Speech synthesizer is only included in the instrument panel for complete models (dual display). The instrument panel for the base models cannot control voice messages,
The speech synthesizer function is provided by three components:
- an instrument panel that analyzes transmission conditions and selects a language;
- a speech synthesizer ECU that processes the instrument panel signal and transmits a message;
- speech synthesizer loudspeaker.
Communication between the instrument panel and the speech synthesizer unit is carried out through the vehicle's multiplex network.
-mute function (sound mute) the car radio is activated by a signal along the wire from the speech synthesizer unit. The signal from the speech synthesizer may be interrupted by a higher priority message: navigation systems. phone, etc.
On vehicles equipped with a navigation system, messages pass through the central electronic communication unit. If the central electronic communication unit is disconnected, no messages are transmitted.
The volume of the transmitted messages changes in steps depending on the engine speed.
Note. when the button for canceling voice messages is pressed, the message is replaced by a sound signal.
