Removal and installation the windshield (Renault Laguna 2)

Removal

After removing the windshield wiper arms and the two air intake grilles, remove the decorative trims of the A-pillar.


Remove the upper decorative trim B, retaining pads C.



Remove:

• sun visors and their brackets;
• windshield pillar trims;
• interior rearview mirror, disconnect the connectors.

Cover the glass around the perimeter with adhesive tape.

Install the dashboard protection, then cut off the adhesive layer.

Installation

Place the upper decorative glass cover D.

Glue the adhesive stop E (in the central part, lower in relation to the opening in the direction of gluing).

Install retaining pads F.



Observe the size of the glue layer.



Glue the windshield (together with an assistant).

Distribute the gaps between the glass and the pillars evenly.
